I stood in front of you

with a smile from ear to ear

you looked right through

me, you didn't notice me there

so I decided to get bolder

I stood with my back to you

started to walk away

you said, hey wait up

you asked me to stay

I kept walking away

you started to jog to keep up

now I see through you

I have no time for us

I don't stand in front of you

I'm still the same me

but no longer there to look through

so you won't see me

I always knew

I was something to see

now I don't need you
