In the west
her sister
sets with a pinky flourish
as powder blue
changes to grey
and winter turns
to spring
in the east
she rises
golden and glorious
in the grey sky
her time to shine
slowly ascending
round and bright
in twilight
clouds too
have left the stage
the wind is resting
naked branches
stretch up to her
sky's glittering specks in charcoal
unable to match her
moonshine glow
as she casts
midnight shadows
in the half-light
she's not blue
but she's magnificent.
