True colours

all of the colours

are always here

in the sky

we can't see them

without reflected light

a prism

a raindrop

a crystal

to bounce and arc

the rays of sunlight

The colours appear

as if by magic

out of the grey

there's red yellow and blue

arched in the rays

mixing with each other

orange purple and green

all the colours of the rainbow

now unhidden

now seen

But lose the light

the colours fade

They're still there

but we only see grey

be a prism

focus on the light

be that ray

and bring your

true colours
