the emperors new clothes
are as they have ever been
drapes of nothing on the
pudgy flesh of the fool
surrounded by sycophants
too scared to shout
hide yourself
hide your ignorance
hide your arrogance
your narcissism
your fakeness
you are a buffoon
but they stay silent
pretend they see something
instead of seeing
the nothingness
the threads of lies
that form the cloth
are all the isms
to divide and conquer
but those who clap
and grin and cheer
dont see the naked
ugly laid bare
they see the things
they want see
fuelled by their ignorance
and their greed
grasping for crumbs dropped from the table
and sneering at those
if not white and a man
considered less than
dont fall for this fool
who says he is great
see the emperor wears nothing
before it's too late
